I think the second set is framed a little nicer, but at the same time the line going through the bottom kind of bothers me. They're all really nicely lit and styled in my opinion though. Nice work!
i'd have to go with the first set because of like lindsey said... the line at the bottom in the second one. Otherwise I really like them but thats probably because of the fish!
second set has more to offer - BUT - needs to be cropped more on the bottom - just a little. Line is an issue - TAKE IT OUT - easy to do if your prof allows for it. I like the movement and placement inside the tank on the second set.
Definitely the second one. No cropping. It looks a little off with a grey background but that's the only issue. The line and table top provide a frame of reference, a horizon, which makes the image visually cohesive. The first picture looks amputated and has a claustrophobic feeling to it. If that's what you want, go for it. Great work.
