Eternal Sunshine

I would not recommend watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind when you're in a bad mood. It can only make it worse and make life seem more hopeless. I have been finding inspiration in movies for years. I guess I've never really directly used the inspiration but I've always consciously looked at movies as a creative source.

What movies inspire you, or shut you down?

ps. I'm bummed out and want another snowstorm

Yeah, watching Eternal Sunshine when you're depressed really isn't a good idea- I think I had this conversation with you and Patti already.

On the other hand, the Science of Sleep makes me giggle, and in general I'll go for anything whimsical that makes me want to get off my ass and start creating things.

I was going to mention the Science of Sleep earlier... before being distracted by the crazy tree infested layering demo. Sometimes I need that little boost of childish creativity to get everything going in my head as well.

I love watching Edward Sissorhands. The story, environment, & color use! Everything about it gets my mind thinking. I recommend watching it if you have not.
