An introduction

For my first post on this blog, I think the most important thing I can do is share some of my work. To make this first post even more special, I've decided to share a body of work that I've never actually shown anyone before:

This is the time of year that I always start to remember the summer. Only a few weeks into winter, I begin to crave the feeling of short sleeve tee shirts and warm summer breeze. As the grey cold drudges on and snow rolls in, I often think back to the summer, and the feelings of warmth and sunlight.

My thoughts of summer are often tied to my car. I feel as if I am always driving, with the windows down of course. In August of this year, I began carrying a camera with me as I drove, photographing whenever I felt the need to - images inspired by places or emotion, not necessarily subject matter. The result? Seven photos that I will share with you in this post. Seven photos that are as ambiguous and opaque in subject matter as they are intensely personal. Essentially seven boring photographs I shot while driving.

I really enjoy the last one, I think the layering is nice. The second to last is also nice

Yeah So I know this comment could have been a while ago, But Robert, The saturation rendering intent would improve all of these images (props to nanette).
