He was using a very high powered nail gun. Luckily, he missed the bone and it went right thru the fleshy part, so all is well.....

Oh Patti... Blaise is lucky to have you as a mom. It took me a minute to realise it was stuck through his finger
I just sat there and stared at that for about a full minute before I fully comprehended what was actually happening in the photo.
I could never be a parent. While I should be consoling my son during this whole ordeal I'd probably be barfing in the trash can in the ER waiting room.
