Hey all,
I wanted to share with you a lo-fi photo zine that my friends Amanda, Victor and Irwin started in San Francisco, that I worked on last year. It is a strictly black and white film, old fashioned kind of publication-- that's the only rule.
"Dust mag is all about shooting film and the love for photography. We are all creating images on a large range from still life, to fashion and editorial, to fine art documentary. Dust is not just about objective photography but most importantly coming together and exploring new ideas and concepts through the visions and sounds of imagery. We have done so by unifying and coming together for the common interest and admiration of film. Through a collaborative effort, our object is to encourage others to shoot more film and to view the world as we see it through our lens. This is the technique of inspiration."
If any of you shoot black and white film and would be interested in contributing to it, let me know and I will give your info to Amanda and who knows-- random people on the streets of San Francisco, LA, Toronto and Guadalajara could be seeing your work.
