Wedding Photography

I've never really been interested in any form of wedding photography...actually I told myself it was the last thing I wanted to do as a photographer. After seeing this wedding photo blog my mind was quickly changed. This photographer takes boring family and wedding portraits and makes them something different.

I was with you, I never wanted to shoot a wedding.

I shot my first wedding just over 2 years ago I think...maybe 3 I don't know. I loved it and hated it at the same time. It was very very stressful, arguably one of the most stressful things you'll do the first time around. If you don't think so, realize that you're photographing an event that will never happen again, with 50-200 of your clients closest family and friends looming around....YAY

They are a lot of fun though and they teach you really quickly to shoot fast and think fast. You can't wait and you can't have any off time really. You also have to push your creativity with the whole portrait family shots thing as everybody wants their photos to stick out from their friends'

I really like how they did that group too!

I agree with Brett... weddings are quite intense. I helped a photographer back home with a very very large Italian wedding. You really learn to be on the tip of your toes every second!
