So there is a kid that I had photo classes with back in high school and he is currently going to a college for photography back home. He has applied to come to RIT next year... I haven't heard if he has gotten in yet.
Anyways... he is doing the 365 project.

I think he has some nice work. He is photographing people a lot which is good. some of the 'fashion' (I'm assuming that's what he's going for) look natural and nice
My total pet peeve is using photos from a different day on a 365 (ie. two shots from one portrait shoot) but I like the idea of the projects. I also think the idea that it will make you shoot more is false, I started one and I definitely did not shoot more because of it, maybe for a week I did.
He seems to quite heavily rely on Photoshop. Not necessarily a bad thing, but certainly doesn't go unnoticed.
I agree, I like the idea and how he has his site set up, but I think some of the retouching is overdone and irrelevant to his images. It does look like he has a talent for portraiture though.
yeah I agree with the photoshop thing... I was hoping someone would comment on that because it kinda drives me crazy because I do feel it is overdone in areas.
