Still Life

I'm sitting here staring at nothing.
I'm racking my brain for inspiration, but for some strange reason this week I've felt as if my mind is filled with ideas with no complete connections.
I'm not sure how to fix this.
But, all I know that in time this will change. I will think of something soon.

In my search for inspiration, I stumbled upon this image again.
This was a photo shot by Philippe Halsman taken of Salvador Dali. It's one image that I've found has stuck in my mind, not necessarily because of the image itself, but for the dedication it took to take it.

It took 26 tries to get it over five hours - Halsman counted to four, Dali leapt, 3 assistants threw the cats, one threw the water from a bucket and Halsman's wife held the chair.

So, I guess for now I'm just going to be patient. (not one of my strong suits)

All in good time.

I didn't read what you wrote, and at first I thought you took it. I was like, WHOAH ALEX, WHY WASN'T I AROUND FOR THIS?!

Maybe this is why I don't do well in M&P, because I don't read and just look at the pictures, such a photographer :)
