Family Project Thoughts

So break is finally coming to an end, for some break was too short and for others, like myself, it was too long. One of the reasons I felt that this break was too long was because of the project. It wasn't the fact that we had to do a project but more the subject matter of the project: family. Don't get me wrong, I love my family but I can only deal with them for short periods of time. I noticed that this mainly applies to my immediate family, and not so much my extended family. I think its because I lived with my immediate family for 19 years before coming to RIT and I don't really see my extended family unless its a holiday or someone's birthday. I noticed this a bit with my photos of my family, I took a lot of photos of my extended family and not a whole lot of my immediate family. I'm kinda curious to see how everyone else depicted their family, did you focus more on your immediate family? your extended family? or maybe not family at all but friends who you are so close to that they feel like family? or maybe you didn't take any photos of people at all and just shot photos of items that remind of family. I think it will be interesting to see how each of us depicted family.

Hope you all had a nice holiday, and a good new year.
