After deciding upon whether or not the "wait" or "weight" of winter is most applicable to me, it seemed that "wait" resonated more. Ever since I was a little kid, I spent most of my winters waiting inside and staring out the window. Either waiting for a good snowfall, waiting for the best day to go sledding, waiting for snow storms to end so my mom could drive me somewhere or usually, waiting for the bus so I didn't have to stand outside in the cold.
Now it seems that all I do in the winter is stare out the window waiting for warmer weather. Winter has become a time that is too dark and dismal for me, and the wait of spring and light has become far more important.
