So far I've mostly taken pictures of the snow outside to represent the "weight of the winter." I'm trying to think of more ideas to represent this topic other than the snow. The picture I uploaded is kind of ironic because their is a sign in a grown describing what kind of vegetation is supposed to be there, but really it's covered completely in snow.
