My deck in winter

I spend alot of time looking and watching. My laptop is usually on the dining room table which has sliding glass door onto my deck which looks onto a ravine leading to Ellison Park.

I have learned to LOVE my deck:)

This is where I see the first signs of Spring - thanks to a large pussy willow tree at the edge of the deck - I love this tree - it is always full of hope - the birds next in it and soon (well, eventually) it will begin to quiver with little signs of life - white pods popping open to signify new growth and the soft willows turn to green leaves. A very cool process.
