I prefer not to think of winter as weight but more as accumulation. It starts with surprise - O ma Gawd i forgot it got this cold- then it transforms into an incessant bitterwind that freezes the tip of your nose and molests your daily commute until you think you might do harm to yourself or others then spring- o ma gawd where did da wintah go oft to? I guess it's not so bad, just temporarily annoying like herpes or aids. Plus it's kinda beautiful very unlike herpes and aids.
